Domenick & Associates to Attend 2017 Risk Summit

Join us next month for the 2017 Risk Summit, hosted by The Nonprofit Risk Management Center, in Philadelphia. The summit will take place September 17-19, 2017, at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. Speakers Ron Boggs and Jim Domenick, owner of Domenick & Associates, Specialty Insurance Brokers, will be hosting a workshop that focuses on Black Swan exposures in the nonprofit insurance industry.

What’s the workshop about?

These speakers will focus on the major yet unexpected operational and management exposures that are often faced by this sector, known as Black Swan exposures. This topic will be followed by risk management strategies and relative insurance policies that are specialty crafted to protect businesses against Black Swan risks.

What are Black Swan Exposures?

The Black Swan theory or theory of black swan events is a metaphor that describes an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact with the benefit of hindsight. The term is based on an ancient saying which presumed black swans did not exist, but the saying was rewritten after black swans were discovered in the wild.

Both speakers will engage with attendees and invite a conversation about remedies for Black Swan exposures and the loss potential associated with them.

Who should join?

The conference is for non-profit managers who deal with insurance and risk management in their organizations. If you’re in the nonprofit sector, and are interested in minimizing loss, addressing your risks, and have questions about nonprofit insurance packages, come see us!
